I woke up early this morning to watch the sunrise at the lake near my house. I was expecting the area to be empty, but to my surprise, the parking lot was full of people who looked like they were on their way to a camping trip. However, they didn't stay long, and soon, it was all quiet. The ducks came by and timidly waited for me to feed them. I just happened to remember that I had some crackers in my car so they soon started to happily swarm in. It was a little cloudy so I didn't see much of the sun, but it was still very colorful. It was definitely worth the 5:00am wake up call.
